Sharjah 24: Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Visiting Doctors Programme, hosted Dr. Roy. J. Mukkada, Senior Consultant and Head of the Endoscopy Department at Royal Care Hospital in India, in order to provide the best health practices.
This comes as part of the strategy of the Emirates Health Services to provide an effective and sustainable health system, raise the quality of health services according to the highest international standards, and attract scientific expertise and skills.

The visit, which lasted for five days, included 16 endoscopic operations, in addition to examining 30 patients who frequent the endoscopy clinic at Kuwait Hospital.

The visit also included organising and giving educational lectures for the medical, technical and nursing staff, and the trained doctors in the hospital, with the aim of enhancing the capabilities of the medical and nursing staff, and informing them of the best modern health practices.

Afra Salem, Director of Kuwait Hospital in Sharjah, stressed the importance of the Visiting Doctors Programme, praising the support of the Emirates Health Services for the programme, by promoting the exchange of distinguished scientific expertise and attracting them to the country, with the aim of achieving its visions aimed at achieving excellence and leadership in providing the highest standards of health services.
