Mleiha Club hosts Festival on World Bicycle Day

Sharjah 24: As part of its sustainability programme and in recognition of World Bicycle Day, the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club hosted the Mleiha Cycling Festival at the Mleiha Cycling Track. Fifty cyclists representing different clubs in Sharjah took part in the festival.

Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, Abdullah Salem Al-Khasouni Al-Ketbi, recently thanked His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his unwavering support of all clubs and athletes in the emirate.

Al-Ketbi told "Sharjah 24" that fifty cyclists from various clubs in the emirate, including the Al Thiqah Club for Handicapped, competed in a five-kilometre race at the Mleiha Cycling Track.
