Sharjah24: Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi, Director of the FUNN Director and Sharjah International Film Festival for Children Director, confirmed that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, has become a leading position among the countries of the world in the areas of empowering youth to unleash their energies and contribute to the development of the country.
She said that the UAE prioritises early childhood and works diligently to develop specific initiatives to protect children from the negative effects of social media.
She went on to say, movies can deliver important messages and contribute to positive change among groups of children and youth, so we must focus on the content that as these films can provide entertainment, education, and inspiration for children and families, teaching them important life lessons.
Sheikha Jawaher stressed the importance of film festivals, pointing out that they constitute a distinguished platform for the audience, providing them with dialogue sessions, discussions, and workshops.
She believes that at FUNN, everyone can create wonderful media artwork and is keen to discover and develop their unique talents and unleash their creativity.
“We are also working, with great passion, to empower young artists in the UAE, foster a vibrant media community, and support emerging young talents,” Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi said.
