Sharjah 24: FUNN Director and Sharjah International Film Festival for Children Director, Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdullah Al Qasimi congratulated the UAE's government and people on the country's national day.
She stated: "Today, as we celebrate this great event that represents the spirit of the union, we underline the significance of solidifying national allegiance and enhancing the Emirati identity, as it has been 51 years since the founding of the UAE, which founded the Emirati nation."
"Conveying the message of Sharjah and the vision of the United Arab Emirates, the FUNN has made its impact in the world of supporting purposeful art by embracing local and Arab talents to improve the reality of the film industry in a way that contributes to the progress and prosperity of societies, and it opens new horizons for raising a promising media generation," she added.
This day, in all its national and cultural significance, demands that we make every effort, for it is the culmination of the UAE's long-term development project, spearheaded by the country since its inception, and the reason why the UAE is now recognised as a global leader and philanthropic force, as well as a leading example of humane and progressive social, cultural, and economic development.
