Sharjah 24: Sheikha Jawaher bint Abdulla Al Qasimi, Director of FUNN and Sharjah International Film Festival for Children and Youth (SIFF), confirmed that the 9th edition of SIFF witnessed great success and remarkable attendance, and celebrated the winners of the festival's awards.
She revealed the end on the activities of the 9th edition of the SIFF, organised by the FUNN, under the generous patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed AlQasimi, Wife of Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs.
In statements to "Sharjah 24", she added that the closing ceremony witnessed the honouring of the winners of the festival's awards, which were contested by 95 Arab and foreign films from 43 countries.
She added that the ninth edition has expanded the scope of its activities to include various cities and regions of the Emirate of Sharjah, including the city of Khorfakkan, the city of Al Dhaid, the city of Kalba, the Dibba Al Hisn area, Al Madam area, Al Hamriyah area, and Al Bataeh area.
