During the meeting, the committee delved into various topics that will be addressed with the Department's Director and the directors of the municipalities in the Emirate. These discussions encompassed questions, inquiries, and proposals that fall within the department's purview, as well as the diverse range of services offered by the municipalities.
In attendance were members of the Public Facilities Committee, along with several council members who had submitted requests to discuss the department's policy. This session formed part of the council's regular fourth session within the tenth legislative term.
The participants engaged in fruitful conversations, exploring various societal perspectives that will be presented during the forthcoming discussion session with the Department of Municipalities.
These discussions and recommendations aim to empower the municipalities in Sharjah to continue their efforts in enhancing their service infrastructure and keeping pace with the evolving needs of the development journey in the Emirate.
