Sharjah24: Her Excellency Halima Al Owais, Chairperson of the Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) , stated that the council concluded, on Thursday, the third ordinary session of the eleventh legislative term, under the guidance and wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Speaking to "Sharjah24" Halima Al Owais, affirmed that the council concluded nine months of persevering parliamentary work by approving the draft law regulating the profession of expert witnesses before judicial authorities, which represents a fundamental pillar in supporting and safeguarding the integrity of the justice system in the emirate. The approval came during the council’s eighteenth and final session of the third ordinary session of the eleventh legislative term.
Al Owais added, in statements to Sharjah 24, that members submitted 38 recommendations during the session that addressed the community needs and reflected the harmony and full integration between the Consultative Council and the government, affirming that they continued exerting sincere efforts that place the interests of Sharjah and its people first at all times, ensuring that the Consultative Council remains a supporter of the Emirate of Sharjah’s development and progress.
