Sharjah24: Members of Sharjah Table Tennis Club travelled to Girona, Spain, to compete in the International Spain Table Tennis Championship, which runs from May 10 to May 16. Engineer Hassan Abdul Razaq, the game's supervisor, Ahmed Al Hamadi, the team's administrator, Ukrainian coach Pietro Kim, and four players make up the club's delegation.
Individual competitions for ages 11, 13, 15, 17, and 19 will be the club's primary focus.
The purpose of participation is to expose players to higher-level competition on a global basis while also helping them improve their match-management skills.
The Sharjah Table Tennis Club's mission is to raise a generation of outstanding Emirati players who would thrive in any sport. The team hopes that by competing, they will be able to well represent the UAE.
