Family Week

The first day of the programme, themed "Family Week," witnessed a remarkable turnout of families of people with disabilities, who participated alongside their children in various events and activities. This reflects the vital role of families in supporting their children and promoting their integration into society, in addition to the sports competitions, recreational activities, and cultural and awareness programmes offered by the programme.

Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled continues to offer its activities during both morning and evening sessions, allowing members to benefit from diverse programmes designed to develop their skills and make the most of their summer vacation in a safe and stimulating environment.

Integrated environment that combines learning and enjoyment

Dr Khalid Omar Al Midfa, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Thiqah Club for the Disabled, confirmed that the club has completed all preparations to welcome participants in the summer programme, “A Holiday Reimagined.” He noted that the launch of the activities marks the beginning of a summer season packed with sports, community, and cultural events that cater to the needs of people with disabilities and contribute to developing their abilities and honing their talents. He added that the club is committed to providing an integrated environment that combines learning and enjoyment, and promotes family participation as a key partner in the success of the programmes and activities. He wished all participants a summer full of achievements and positive experiences.

Mohammed Abdullah Al Qaid Al Hammadi, Acting Executive Director of the club, expressed his delight at the launch of the program, emphasising the club's commitment to providing high-quality events that meet the aspirations of its members and their families.
