His Excellency Issa Hilal said that Al Hamriya maritime sports team is team that realises success, and the UAE team always makes the best representation, whether in rowing or sailing. His Excellenct expressed his happiness that the team didn’t only represent the Emirate of Sharjah but the United Arab Emirates.
His Excellency Juma Al Shamsi pointed out that the team's excellent performance in the Asian Championship is just the beginning towrads more achievements for the national team, highlighting that the team follows a training policy to maintain its performance in the maritime games.
Al Hamriya Rowing Team awarded the UAE team in the Asian Championship 3 medals, a silver medal and two bronze medals, with an unprecedented achievement whereas it will be present in the ANOC World Beach Games that will take place in Indonesia, in August 2023.
