Al Shehi wins best swimmer cup

Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Club swimmer, Hamad Al Shehhi, excelled in the current season championships, winning 3 cups, 3 gold medals and one silver medal in the UAE Swimming Federation Championship, held on May 6 and 7, at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi.
Al Shehi was crowned the best UAE swimmer in the 14-year category championship, winning 3 gold medals in the 100-meter freestyle, 50-meter butterfly, then 50-meter freestyle, and a silver medal in the 50-meter backstroke.
 
Al Hamriyah Club swimmer won the best swimmer cup at the state level for the 14-year-old category, in addition to the third place, for the overall 13 and 14-year categories.
 
His Excellency Juma Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, praised the brilliant performance of the champion Hamad Al Shehi, stressing the importance of maintaining his achievements, and looking forward to realising more success in the future.
 
 
The technical director of Al Hamriyah Swimming Team, Ahmed Jamal Al Din, thanked His Excellency the Chairman for encouraging the Club's swimmers, led by the champion Hamad Al Shehi, stressing that the team is working to honour the club’s name in all competitions.
