Sharjah 24: The Sharjah men's handball team continued its victorious tone, by achieving an important 32-22 win over its guest team, Al Ain, in the fifth round of the the General Handball League finals, on Friday evening, at the Sharjah Sports Club hall.
With this win, Sharjah reaches point 17 at the top of the ranking table with a full score, and is close to winning the seventh shield in a row and the seventeenth in its history.
The competition stops in mid-April due to the international agenda of the teams, then the last two remaining rounds are played, where Sharjah faces Al Wasl team in the sixth round, next May 2, and then hosts Al Jazira at the end of the finals in the seventh round, May 6, to bring the curtain down on this edition, which was played in three stages, followed by His Highness the President's Cup competition.
