Sharjah 24:For the second time since 2019, Sharjah beat Al Ain 1-0 in a pulsating UAE Super Cup clash at the Al Maktoum Stadium Saturday evening to win the first title of 2023 and become the UAE Super Cup champion.

The only goal of the match came by Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, Al Ain player, by mistake, in the 29th minute of the match.

The final moments of the match, which lasted for 112 minutes, witnessed the dismissal of Romanian Olaroiu Cosmin, Sharjah coach, after he objected to the match referee.
