Al Hamriyah wins two medals at youth rowing championship, Tunisia

Sharjah 24: Al Hamriyah Club rowing ream raised the UAE flag high at the Tunis Lake International Rowing Regatta, which was hosted by the Tunisian capital, Tunis on the 18th and 19th of March, by winning two medals, a silver and a bronze. The event witnessed the participation of 8 teams.
The silver medal came through Zayed Obaid Al Shamsi, who won the second place in the junior singles under 17 years old, while the duo Ammar Obaid Al Balushi and Saif Al Mansouri won the bronze doubles under 23 years old - heavy weight.

Salem Al Muhairi, a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Marine Games Committee, who headed the team, said that this achievement reflects the great work of the team of administrators, supervisors, coaches and players.

Al Muhairi, the coach of the team, Sayed Ali Wadh, and the players dedicated this coronation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the Sharjah Sports Council headed by Issa Hilal, and the President of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, Juma Al Shamsi.
