Sharjah24: The Sharjah Prevention and Safety Authority (SPSA) has launched a set of educational publications concerned with preparing for Ramadan, which aim to reduce potential dangers in Ramadan.
Abdullah Al Majidi, Deputy Director of the Standards and Conformity Department at the SPSA, explained that the authority allocates monthly awareness on various topics of interest to members of society. The subject of preparation for Ramadan was chosen as part of the awareness plan to ensure readiness to deal with emergency cases during Ramadan.

The authority called on families to be familiar with the safety requirements in home kitchens.

SPSA appeals to the public on the importance of providing extinguishers, fire blankets, and first aid kits. It also requested installing smoke detectors in homes, gas detectors in kitchens, and an early warning safety system in commercial and residential buildings to avoid catastrophic accidents.
