Sharjah24: The Prevention and Safety Authority recently participated in the events and festivals held in Sharjah, where Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Media Council, visited the Authority’s platform at Sharjah Event Festival (#SeeSharjah) with its activities and viewed its educational magazine for children about safety aspects.
The Authority discussed many topics about safety with children through cartoon characters and movies, making it easier to grab children’s attention.
The role of the Authority was not limited to educating children only. Still, the Authority also educated parents through the “Salamtak” bus, which is equipped with the latest technology and displays educational videos on occupational safety and health.
Sheikh Eng. Khalid bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Authority, stated that among the Authority’s future visions is the establishment of a generation that is aware of safety procedures, aware of the surrounding risks, and able to avoid them.
