Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Club men's handball team departed today, Monday, for Bahrain to participate in the 39th edition of the Gulf Clubs Men’s Handball Championship, which will be held by the Bahraini Al-Najma Club from March 8 to 17.

Mohammed Obaid Al-Hussan, member of the Sharjah Sports Club board of directors and director of the Team Games Department, leads the Sharjah team. 

The mission includes 22 players as well as representatives of the team's technical, administrative, medical, and media staffs.

Sharjah will begin the play-offs against the Saudi team Al-Safa next Thursday, then face Kuwait the following Saturday before finishing the preliminary phase against Al-Ahli of Bahrain on Monday, March 13th.
