AQU organises exhibition on developing reading skills

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University (AQU) launched a package of activities and events to mark the "National Reading Month 2023", during which His Excellency Professor Dr. Awad AlKhalaf, Chancellor of AQU has inaugurated the annual exhibition, in the presence of several dignitaries, aiming to provide the University’s library with more scientific publications and modern books, contributing in motivating students to read more.

Dr. Awad AlKhalaf was briefed on the exhibition pavilions, praising the exhibition’s various books and publications.

He has further stressed the University's keenness to continue developing reading’s core skills for all its students to benefit from different sciences. In line with the wise directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the Founder of Al Qasimia University, aiming to motivate students to read and learn, strengthening Sharjah’s cultural position as a global capital of books and intellectual destination at the regional and global levels.

Several students of Al Qasimia University participated in the event’s various activities, exchanging ideas and visions on the importance of developing a love of reading among the younger generation.
