The initiative targeted labourers in the vicinity of the university campus, where a group of female students took part in distributing chilled water, juices, light meals, and ice cream to workers at their job sites. This noble gesture conveyed heartfelt messages of gratitude and appreciation to those who quietly contribute to the fabric of daily life in the community.
The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students, who expressed great joy in being part of the experience. Ahlam bin Jarsh, Assistant Chancellor of Al Qasimia University for Female Student Affairs, affirmed that ‘Cool Their Summer’ is one of the university’s standout initiatives, reflecting its commitment to its educational and humanitarian mission. She emphasised the Deanship’s keenness to instil values of generosity and humility in students and to strengthen their social awareness so they become shining examples of service to humanity.
