Sharjah24: The Advisory Board of the College of Communication at Al Qasimia University (AQU) praised the efforts of the University’s administration staff, within the framework of developing teaching and learning at the college in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aiming to promote the University's policies.
This came during the meeting, which is the third within the council's role at the University's headquarters, headed by His Excellency Tariq Saeed Allay, Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau and the alternate chairperson of the council.
During the meeting, being attended by a number of dignitaries, has lauded the College’s significant shift in applied radio and television production skills and digital media.
The Council listened to a detailed report presented by Prof. Dr. Hisham Abbas Zakaria, Dean of the College of Communication, in which he briefed the attendees on the college's performance and future strategies.
The meeting concluded with the need to produce researches that serve the UAE media institutions, calling for integrating the media production of students into the platforms of official media institutions in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The members of the Advisory Council visited the college's studios and laboratories, while they were briefed on some professional training workshops and practical courses.
