Sharjah24: Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club (MCSC) concluded its four-day reading festival activities, as part of its program during the month of reading, witnessing a large number of activities that come in line with the goals of the MCSC and the Sharjah Sports Council.
Aiming to spread sports among the players, the event included a variety of cultural activities.
During the ceremony organised by the Club at its headquarters, Dr. Rashid Ahmed Al Mazrouei was honoured, in recognition of his significant cultural contributions in many areas, and awarded the Cultural Figure Award.
His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mleiha Cultural and Sports Club, in the presence of a group of personalities from the central region, led by Sheikh Mohammed bin Howiden; Dr. Mohammed Abdullah bin Howiden, Chairman of the Municipal Council of Al Dhaid; Abdullah Musabeh Al Khasouni Al Ketbi, member of the Sharjah Consultative Council , honoured Dr. Rashid Ahmed Al Mazrouei with the Festival’s Cultural Personality Award.
