Sharjah 24: "Creative Manifestations" was carefully selected as the theme for the Islamic Arts Festival's twenty-fifth edition, which will begin in December 2023 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
This came during a meeting in Sharjah's Department of Culture led by Mohammed Ibrahim Al Qaseer, Director of the Section of Cultural Affairs in the Department, the Director of the Festival, and members of the Supreme Committee.
According to Al Qaseer, the festival "had formed a genuine visual language and built a global creative identity in its consecutive sessions" after 25 years.
His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah founded the Islamic Arts Festival in 1998. With the passage of time, it has transformed into a new artistic perspective on Islamic arts while yet holding on to its historical and aesthetically significant roots.
