Al Mansouri ends Mirza’s monopoly of Cycling Championship title

Sharjah 24: Ahmed Al-Mansouri, Al Ahly youth cyclist, won the UAE Cycling Championship title, Saturday, to break Mirza's 12-year monopoly of the title, while Mirza crowned him with the gold medal.

The race was held for a distance of 80 km in the city of Kalba, with the participation of 70 competitors from amateur clubs and teams.

Dominating the first three places, Abdul Rahman Salem of the Al Ahly youth team came second in the race, followed by his teammate Ali Al Hassani third.

At the end of the race, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Cycling Federation, Khalifa bin Omair, crowned the winners.
