Sharjah24 : Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, highlighted the importance of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour in promoting tourism in various cities and regions of the emirate.
On Monday, the Kalba Waterfront served as the starting point for the fourth phase of the Sharjah International Cycling Tour, which wound its way across the city and ended at the Cloud's Lounge in Khorfakkan
Dr .Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Kalba Municipal Council; Abdul Malik Jani, Vice Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of the Kalba Municipality, and a number of officials from government departments, institutions, and sports clubs attended the launch of the fourth phase.
Abdul Malik Jani, vice chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, says that the tour is a great chance to show off the emirate's many attractions and natural beauty.
In an interview with "Sharjah 24," he said that 146 contestants from 19 countries are taking part in this year's tour, which has five stages and is marked by strong competition and great sportsmanship.
