Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work will launch, its 4th forum, on Wednesday, under the theme "Sustainability of Volunteering" at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, from 10 am to 2 pm.
Government institutions, researchers and specialised experts will participate in the forum to present best practices related to the sustainability of volunteer work, the role of institutions, entities, volunteer teams and educational institutions in promoting volunteering, as well as identifying opportunities and challenges facing the process of sustaining volunteer work institutionally and societally.
The forum includes a discussion of three sessions presented by experts from government entities and academic researchers with experience in the fields of voluntary studies.
