Sharjah24: In line with Al Hamriyah Municipality’s strategic plan for the years 2023 to 2026 AD and within the framework of its annual awareness plans, the Public Health Department of Al Hamriyah Municipality launched a series of awareness and educational programs, including lectures and workshops, aimed at introducing health standards for the safety of food products, with highlighting the sources of food contamination, contributing in raising the awareness of the participants in this regard.
For his part, Mohammed Sultan bin Hareb Al Muhairi, Head of the Public Health Department at Al Hamriyah Municipality, stated that a full explanation was provided to all the participants, with interactive applications and practical training on food safety and quality.
In a statement, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, indicated that Al Hamriyah Municipality will continue its institutional partnerships with various departments, institutions, schools in the Al Hamriyah and the public, to provide a series of educational and health programs and events, achieving the Municipality’s vision and objectives, aiming to enhance the quality of life for the community, with the sustainability of public health, in accordance with the best applied practices.
Al Shamsi added that the Municipality's work teams are intensifying their awareness-raising roles for all target groups in Al Hamriyah, with the aim of raising awareness about food safety, shedding light on the societal role towards health standards and requirements.
