Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Head of the Rain Emergency Team, explained that the municipality had provided all that was necessary to deal with the unstable weather condition since Monday, according to pre-prepared plans.
The municipality has provided 120 tanks, 100 mobile pumping stations, and two dam stations to withdraw rainwater surplus.
Many awareness messages were broadcasted on the municipality’s social media accounts, urging the public to take precautions and adhere to safety measures.
