Sharjah 24: Sharjah Municipality (SM) confirmed its keenness to promote the 50% discount on attesting overdue rental contracts for all years in the Emirate of Sharjah and new or renewed contracts until December 31, 2022 for one year only.
In this context, Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of Sharjah Municipality (SM), stressed that the municipality is keen to spread awareness among all members of society about the importance of attesting contracts, especially in light of the decision to grant a 50% discount on overdue contracts and new or renewed contracts.
This includes text messages to customers, placing billboards on roads, squares and bridges, and promoting through social media.
It also works on cooperation and coordination with various government entities in the Emirate, to send text messages to its customers, noting that the municipality addresses all members of society to benefit from the decision in 3 different languages, including Arabic, English and Urdu in order to deliver it to the largest possible segment.
The Director General of Sharjah Municipality noted that the municipality welcomes inquiries and comments from the public around the clock, whether through the call centre on the number 993 or through its social media platforms, and dealing with these observations with the necessary accuracy and assisting customers in completing any requests that fall within the municipality's competencies.
