Al Kindi announced, in statements to "Sharjah 24", the launch of several qualitative initiatives to improve customer services in various departments.
He explained that the hospital is underway to increase the emergency department's capacity to keep pace with the population increase in Khorfakkan and neighboring cities, pointing to the high rate of patients to the emergency department, an increase of about 70% over previous years.
He added that the hospital implemented boilers with solar energy. Also, a diabetes centre was established, an integrated treatment center with several specialties.
Furthermore, he also referred to the development of the customer happiness center. Among the proactive projects was the QR code project in the inpatient rooms and the "Excellence Center for Pregnant Care" project.
Al Kindi noted the launch of a delivery initiative, providing medical supplies to people with special needs, the elders, and people with disabilities, through a delivery service.
