The blood donation campaign, held at the headquarters of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, focused on broadcasting a social message that enhances the presence of the Council among people, contributes to donating blood as a national duty and actively participates in playing a tangible role in supporting humanitarian initiatives, including blood donation to serve patients.
The campaign stems from the keenness of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council to celebrate the fiftieth year and to perform the societal and humanitarian duty in donating blood and to save the lives of others who are in dire need of this generous donation
Mohammed Ahmed Al Ghawi Al Naqbi, Chairman of Al Subaihiya Suburb Council, Khalfan Saleh Al Naqbi, Vice-Chairman, and members of the community were the first blood donors and contributed to the success of the campaign and its goals, and raced them to play a national role with the country's celebrations of the National Day.
He hailed the importance and success of the campaign, stressing that it comes within the framework of the council’s celebrations of the fiftieth National Day, which aim to support humanitarian activities in the UAE and deepen the spirit of responsibility in the hearts of people.
Al Naqbi praised the role of the medical staff during the blood donation campaign and the role of people who donated blood.
At the conclusion of the blood donation campaign, Al Naqbi extended his thanks to Khorfakkan Hospital for the cooperation and contribution to the success of the campaign.
