Sharjah24: Saif Khamis Al Mazrouei, a member of the Kalba Municipal Council, revealed the participation of about 20 companies and producers in the activities of the Wadi Al Helo Honey Festival, which is organised by the Kalba Municipality in the heritage village of Wadi Al Helo.
The activities of the 1st edition of the Wadi Al Helo Honey Festival has launched on Thursday, being organised by the Municipality of Kalba City in the heritage village for 4 consecutive days, in cooperation with the people of Wadi Al Helo.
Saif Khamis Al Mazrouei, a member of the Kalba Municipal Council, said that the festival aims to provide support to honey producers, both companies and individuals, in addition to providing optimal options for consumers to purchase their needs of honey and its derivatives.
In his statement to “Sharjah 24”, he explained that about 20 companies and producers are participating in the festival, including several folklore, entertainment and artistic events.
Al Mazrouei added that the festival is expected to attract a large number of residents and visitors, which will enhance the tourism sector in Wadi Al Helo.
