Sharjah24: Saif Khamis Saeed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 51st UAE National Day celebrations in Wadi Al Helo, praised the national and heritage performances presented by several parties, during the celebrations of the occasion in the heritage village in the region, in the presence of Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Kalba.
Speaking in an exclusive statement to "Sharjah 24", Al Mazrouei has expressed pleasure on this occasion, emphasising that the event included different national performances with the participation of schools in the region; a poetry evening for a number of poets; Emirati traditional band show, as well as competitions for children.
Concluding his statement, Al Mazrouei added that several government agencies participated in providing recreational activities and workshops for children, noting that the people of the region participated in providing popular dishes for the public, marking the celebration of the 51st UAE National Day.
