Al Jasmi: ‘Desert Theatre’ ranks high on Arab culture map

Emirati artist Ahmed Al Jasmi explained that the success of the opening show of the sixth edition of the Sharjah Desert Theatre Festival was due to the presence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and the great support that His Highness gives to theatre in general.

Speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24", Al Jasmi added that the large public attendance witnessed by the Emirati show "Salloum Al Arab", and the presence of Arab artists that will perform over a period of 5 days, reflect the status of the festival at the Arab level, and this is what must be preserved.
