The municipality’s participation confirms its vision to provide a wide range of events, programmes and activities that target visitors over three consecutive weeks.
Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, confirmed that the participation in the activities of the 11th Dawahi Festival stems from the municipality's keenness to integrate its roles with all institutions, especially the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, to enhance social and family cohesion, and develop family ties, consolidating an atmosphere of love, bonding and happiness among family members, and launching events and programmes consistent with national values, customs and identity.
Al Shamsi unveiled the most prominent activities and initiatives that will be implemented by the municipality team from various departments and sections, which are concerned with creative activities, environmental programmes, entertainment events, innovative workshops, interactive competitions, graphics, paintings, recycling, and distributions of gifts and incentive prizes.
