Sharjah24: The Arabic Language Academy (ALA) in Sharjah announced the graduation of a new batch of 18 students from five countries: India, Britain, America, Canada and Pakistan who passed the tenth session of the Arabic Language Center of the Academy, as part of its efforts to teach Arabic to non-native speakers.
The course, which started in mid-September of last year and lasted for a month, concentrated on teaching fundamental abilities in Arabic pronunciation, writing, and social interaction in accordance with the standard rules, as well as introducing students to the most prominent features of the UAE's culture, heritage, and custom.

In order to make the rules of Arabic, the exits of its letters, and pronunciation techniques simpler, a group of professors who specialize in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers took on the task of instructing students. They have the knowledge and experience necessary to prioritize the rules and information that must be covered to teaching Arabic to foreign students.

"The graduation of a new batch of non-Arabic speaking students who wish to learn the fundamentals of the Dhad language is a happy event," said Dr. Muhammed Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary-General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah. "The regularity of such courses makes us sure that we are fulfilling our mission in the service of the language" he added on that occasion .
