Sharjah 24: The Sharjah-based Arabic Language Academy (ALA) concluded its participation in the events of the 13th Al Ain Book Festival, 2022 session, which ran until November 20.
The academy managed to raise awareness of its ground-breaking activities and programmes that elevate the Arabic language and its prestige, as well as its initiatives to publish resources in which leading language academies from the Arab world participate, through its participation in local, Arab, and global cultural events.
The academy displayed the 36 volumes of the "Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language" that were completed. His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah recently unveiled 19 of the volumes displayed at the festival.
Attendees at the 2022 Al Ain Book Festival learnt about the Sharjah-based Arabic Language Academy and the "Arabic Language Centre" it operates for non-native Arabic speakers.
