Sharjah24: Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE) held eleven committees to test the participants of all ages in the 25th edition of the Sharjah Award for the Noble Quran and the Prophet’s Sunnah (SANQPS), in its preliminary qualifiers that were held at the Establishment’s headquarters in Sharjah.
The Award is held under the patronage of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The examining committees received 1427 male and female applicants, over 21 days, across the Award’s various branches.
The Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment will form an examining committee for 45 people with disabilities of different ages, to test them in the award branches at Al-Thiqa Club for the Disabled in Sharjah.
The Award is one of the Qur’anic awards that the Establishment is keen to organise annually, contributing to enriching the activities of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment by improving the memorisation of the Holy Qur’an and understanding the Sunnah of the Prophet, in a way that enhances the Establishment’s roles and its goals.
During the preliminary examination, the Establishment activiated the electronic system ,being in effect in different government service departments, allowing to facilitate the entry of contestants,while giving priority to those who arrive at the Establishment's headquarters.
The total prizes amount to nearly one million dirhams, sponsored by the Sharjah Cooperative Society.
