Ruwad is organising the initiative in partnership with the Sharjah Education Council (SEC), aiming to develop entrepreneurial thought among emerging generations and encourage students of different educational stages to experience self-employment and empower them to take over responsibility for managing a small project, under the supervision and follow-up of consultants and experts specialised in this field.

The registration period extends from November 28, 2022 to December 8, 2022. After that, the evaluation committee will select the participating projects. Then, an introductory day will be organised for all the participants, followed by a number of training workshops, ensuring the participants’ qualification to start projects, by explaining the skills of entrepreneurship management.
The 8th edition of "Business Stars" initiative will start during the period from 21 - 30 December 2022, in Kshisha Park, in Al Rahmaniyah suburb, Sharjah, and it aims to attract male and female students from age groups ranging from 9 to 20 years.
Commenting on this, His Excellency Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of Ruwad has highlighted the importance of this initiative in encouraging Emirati students, in entrepreneurship and motivating them to take their first steps in the world of business that is full of opportunities and promises. He expressed hopes for further effective participation from the school and university students in this year’s edition, coming up with distinguished ideas for new commercial and entrepreneurial projects.
