Sharjah 24: During the third quarter of this year, 15.5% more new projects joined the Sharjah Foundation to Support Pioneering Entrepreneurs (Ruwad) of the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD). There were a total of 67 new projects, which is 15.5% more than the previous quarter.
Most of the cities in the emirate were involved in the projects, and there was a wide range of industries and types of employment represented.
The Chairman of the SEDD, Sultan Abdullah bin Hadda Al Suwaidi, said that the Ruwad Foundation's continued success is due to the concerted and coordinated efforts of the Foundation, its partners in government agencies, private sector representatives, and entrepreneurs in the Emirate of Sharjah and at the national level.
According to Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of Ruwad, the Emirate of Sharjah's entrepreneurial sector is growing steadily, as seen by the Foundation's accomplishments.
