SEDD attracts investments at “Make it in the Emirates”

Sharjah24: Khalid Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Director of the Industrial Affairs Department at the Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD), announced the department’s participation in the fourth edition of the "Make it in the Emirates" Forum, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). He emphasised that the event offers an ideal platform for exchanging ideas and proposals with both public and private entities, contributing to the enhancement of the business environment and attracting investments to the Emirate of Sharjah.

Al Suwaidi confirmed that this is the department's fourth participation in the forum, emphasising its importance as a valuable chance to connect with government entities and private sector representatives. The forum acts as a crucial gathering for decision-makers, investors, and stakeholders to address challenges, identify growth opportunities, and suggest innovative solutions for the industrial sector.

Sharjah’s Industrial Role

He further said that the department is always working to make Sharjah a worldwide center for innovation and industry. The goal is to encourage industrial variety and innovation while boosting the economy throughout the UAE. This is done by recruiting a wide range of industries and promoting goods made in the UAE.
