During the ceremony, which was held at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), Al Mulla honoured the supporting and collaborating bodies and a number of social media influencers who contributed to the dissemination and promotion of the initiative and its projects, as well as school and university students who participated with their projects in the initiative and in the presence of their parents.
In this context, Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Director of the “Ruwad” stressed the interest of developed countries in consolidating entrepreneurship making it an advanced priority in their economic plans and strategies, and spreading the concept of entrepreneurship among students and young people as a mentality, culture, behaviour and lifestyle, praising students’ keenness in such an initiative.
He explained that the seventh edition of the initiative witnessed the participation of 40 student groups, including 20 school students and the same for university students, with a total of 99 male and female participants, including 37 male and 62 female students.
He added that the total sales of the participating projects amounted to about AED172,000, which, compared to the sales value of the last three cycles, represents 45% of the total sales in these cycles for the years 2018, 2019 and 2021.
The Director of "Ruwad" congratulated the winning projects in the initiative, wishing them more success and scientific and practical excellence. He also thanked the Sharjah Education Council for its golden sponsorship and effective strategic partnership, and to the supporting and cooperating entities and projects.
