Sharjah Ruler gifts two rare manuscripts to IMH

Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has gifted the Islamic Manuscripts House (IMH) of Al Qasimia University two original manuscripts, considered among the rarest manuscripts in the world, to be added to the series of preserved manuscripts previously donated by His Highness to the House.
The title of the first manuscript is “Religious Advice and Faith Commandments” by Abdullah bin Alawi Al-Haddad Ba Alawi Al Hadrami. It is a book on preaching and reminders, copied by Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Kamal bin Ahmed bin Shams Al-Din on Al Qassam Island in 1232 AH, and it containing 270 sheets.

The Second manuscript entitled: (The Way of Forgiveness in Month of Ramadan) by Hussain bin Jamal Al Din bin Youssef bin Ahmed bin Nimat Allah bin Khatun Al Amili, it is a book on the virtues of business, transcribed by Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Hassan bin Ali bin Ahmed bin Nimat Allah bin Khatun Al Amili, in the 1124 AH from the author's copy, and it is containing in 251 sheets.

The gift of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah comes within his continuous support and interest in enriching Islamic Manuscripts House with the rarest original documents and books in all fields of science and various knowledge in various languages.

Islamic Manuscripts House continues its work in accordance with the vision of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance its role as a tributary of intellectual and cultural nutrition and to stand on the products of the Islamic mind throughout the ages.
