Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) and Majid Al Futtaim Group hosted a job fair at the Palace of Culture on November 2, 2022, so that those looking for jobs in the private sector may attend interviews.
Attended by His Excellency Tarik Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, the open day saw the participation of ninety-four male and female job seekers.
His Excellency praised the great interaction of job seekers during the interviews conducted by several employment specialists from the Majid Al Futtaim Group.
His Excellency explained that the open day was planned because SDHR is serious about carrying out the directions of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to boost the private sector's participation in creating employment for citizens.
Bin Khadem thanked Majid Al Futtaim Group for partnering with the SDHR in the recruitment of job seekers and for playing a positive role in supporting the SDHR's efforts to promote emiratisation policies, while also praising the Department of Culture in Sharjah for its crucial role in the event's smooth execution.
