Sharjah24: The Director of Projects at Sharjah Charity International (SCI), Mohammed Hamdan Al Zari, has stated that the "Juffair Al-Khair" project is one of the pioneering projects, and that it is a part of a larger initiative allocated by the association to craftsmen and simple professions. The association supported 998 of these projects, costing a combined DH 1.2 million in 2021.
A number of projects in countries receiving foreign aid were supported to help families become more productive: 209 in Mauritania, 160 in Egypt, 146 in Niger, 100 in Kenya, 49 in Burkina Faso, 62 in Bangladesh, 28 in Malawi, 36 in Indonesia, 25 in Chad, 25 in Tajikistan, 51 in Cambodia, 17 in Liberia, 17 in Tanzania, 2 in Senegal, 10 in Nepal.
Al-Zari urged donors to back the "Juffair Al-Khair" initiative, saying that SCI is working on a wide range of initiatives to help disadvantaged households in more than 110 countries. He also expressed gratitude to those who had helped fund and participate in the initiatives so far.
