The municipality of Kalba city, in cooperation with the Municipal Council, launched a field campaign to distribute UAE flags to the people in preparation for the UAE’s celebrations of the 51st National Day, under the slogan "Teach us our responsibility".
In statements to Sharjah 24 on the sidelines of launching the campaign, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Director of Kalba City Municipality, said that it aims to distribute about 6,500 flags to government departments and citizens’ homes in various areas of the city.
He explained that several parties are participating in the campaign, in addition to a crowd of male and female volunteers, with the aim of replacing the damaged and dilapidated flags on the houses and on the facades of buildings in appreciation of the national flag, which is the main symbol of the state
The inauguration of the campaign held at the headquarters of the Municipality's Health and Laboratories Department and was witnessed by Dr. Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Municipal Council, and a crowd of officials and representatives of government departments and institutions.
