Al Shamsi: 1060 jobs granted to citizens until end of 2022

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, stated that in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to replace 3,000 jobs for citizens in the Sharjah Police, the number of jobs granted to citizens will reach 1,060 jobs until the end of this year 2022, and the Emiratisation index has reached nearly 80%.
This came in a call on the “Direct Line” programme via Sharjah Broadcasting Authority with Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority. During the call, His Excellency said: “Concerning His Highness’s grant to equal the retirees on the federal cadre in Sharjah Police whose salaries are less than 17,500 local retirees, 354 cases have been completed, and 132 other cases are being completed.”

During the programme, Mohammed Hassan Khalaf announced that the Sharjah Department of Human Resources, during 2022, hired 1200 male and female citizens in Sharjah government departments and authorities, until the end of last September, and the total will reach 1600 jobs by the end of the year, after hiring 400 new jobs.
