Sharjah24: Sharjah Sports Council ( SSC ) to launch the Suburban Electronic Football Championship, in cooperation with the Department of Suburban and Village Affairs, which will be take part from September 30 to October 2, 2022.

Suburban Electronic Football Championship targets 50 players from each suburb, with the participation of 10 suburbs in the Emirate of Sharjah, where cash and in-kind prizes have been allocated to the winners. 

Building on this, Issa Hilal Al-Hazami, Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council, stated that we are happy to organise this tournament in its first edition, in light of the council’s keenness in developing events, in line of the visions and directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and his wife, Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, President of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Chairman of the Executive Council. 

He added that the council seeks to cooperate with various institutions and sports federations in the country and to attract new events and activities in various sports, and we look forward to providing everything that would develop games.
