Sharjah 24: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the ninth edition of the Kalba Festival for Short Plays, was concluded, on Tuesday, at the Kalba Cultural Centre.

This came in the presence of Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of Sharjah Ruler’s Office in Kalba, along with the festival guests, top officials and the public.

The event witnessed a presentation of the findings of the jury and selection of the winners who participated in the festival.

Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr bin Sultan Al Qasimi, and Ahmed Burhima, Director of the Theatre Department, honoured the winners of the awards of the ninth edition, which witnessed the presentation of 14 shows, three shows per day, in the period from 22 to 26 September.
