Sharjah 24: Emirati artist Ibrahim Salem announced the launch of the Elements of Theatrical Performance course, which is organised by the Department of Culture as part of the preparations for the eleventh edition of the Kalba Short Plays Festival.

Emirati artist Ibrahim Salem said that the course includes 3 training workshops on acting, scenography, and directing, and the training activities will continue until next August 17.
He explained in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the acting workshop attracted, on its first day, a large number of students and young people interested in the field of theatrical acting, pointing out that the course in general was very popular.
He added that the course is one of the elements that contribute to refining the talents of theatrical energies and enhances the quality of theatrical work, noting that the Kalba Short Plays Festival has become one of the important festivals in the country and the region.
