Sharjah24: Kalba's Al Sharqiya channel, part of the Sharjah Radio and Television Authority, will devote a whole week to airing special coverage of the ninth annual "Kalba Festival for Short Plays," which will take place from 22 - 27 September.
It will feature panel discussions with the industry's most renowned actors, playwrights, and directors discussing how they approach their craft, create, and direct plays, and evaluate the work of their performers.
Viewers of "Al Sharqiya" will be able to keep up with the festival and all of the related talks, seminars, hands-on workshops, and conversations with the filmmakers and actors.
Amateur playwrights who have completed a three-month training programme are featured at the Kalba Festival for Short Plays.
